Why is Canadiens spelled with an “e” rather than an “a”. Also, why are they sometimes referred to as the “Habs” and what does that mean. Does that have anything to do with the “H” in the logo?

I want to travel to Canada, a tour of Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, maybe Toronto?

I love to travel to canada. I have been to windsor and toronto many times. I’m from michigan and I was wondering a few things:
-should I learn some french if I go to Quebec
-any recomended attractions for any of these citys
-any websites that have packages for travel and hotel at affordable rates
-any websites that have tourism info
-any personal expirence stories are welcome as well

Should I move to Vancouver? I like living in big cities and live pretty much downtown montreal right now!?

Hi, I just moved into a great affordable appartment in montreal (405$) everything included. I dont like the weather though and want to live in Vancouver city. Is the weather there nice even though there’s lots of rain and how far from the city do I have to live with my 1000$ monthly budget for all my expenses? Also I dont like having roomates am I asking to much?

Trying to plan a guys vacation to Montreal. Strippers and gambling being the main attraction. I need details!!?

I have searched all over the internet without much luck. I am trying to plan a vacation for a group of 8 guys. We love going to strip clubs and gambling. Ste-Catherine in Montreal seems to be the epicenter of adult nightlife. We’ve been to Vegas and want to try something a little new. What I am trying to figure out is where to stay and what clubs/casinos to plan our stay around. We won’t have our cars so we will mostly be walking around or using public transportation if it came to that.

Can someone please give me some inside information or some insight? It seems like most websites are shying away from the adult side of this city.

we will not have a car and don’t want to spend a fortune on cabs. we’ll be there for three days. are there any hotels or motels that are less than 90$ a night that we can walk to a subway stop from?
