I have recently immigrated and would like to consolidate my finances and debts. I have a credit card in the United Kingdom and would like to transfer the balance to a credit card in the United States – I basically can’t make payments to my UK CC without a UK bank (which I no longer have!)
Can anyone recommend a bank / establishment / particular credit card which allows foreign balance transfers?

I have cleaned up my credit and my score is 661 right now. Should I wait until it gets over 700 before applying for a mortgage? Is there anything else I can do (besides paying bills on time) to get my credit score up a little higher?
What would be the point of getting a car loan for a car rather than just paying for it on a 3.99fixed balance transfer that is a check that I can cash at the bank.
