What happens to my credit score if I get married?

February25

I’m in my late 20’s and my soon to be husband is in his early thirties. I have credit card debt, but I’m working on it. I have a couple bank accounts. I also have a really good credit score. My soon to be husband filed for bankruptcy a couple years ago after he got divorced to avoid paying for bills his wife wasn’t paying. He doesn’t have a credit card. He does have a bank account. I have no idea what his credit score is. Will my credit score be affected when we get married? Should we share a bank account when we get married?
Note: His wife bought things and then didn’t pay for the bills for them. They were items she bought and used when they were separated. He didn’t see or use them. When she didn’t pay for them the creditors came after her. She claimed she wasn’t working and then they came after him after they were divorced. He was advised to file bankruptcy so the creditors would stop going after him.

How can I find out about offers for credit cards offering no interest for the life of the balance transfer?

February25

My friend told me about this. She said some companies offer 0% interest for the life of your balance transfer. I can’t seem to find any offers, do I just have to hope I get an offer in the mail? Are there any companies that offer this via their websites? Thanks!

CAHS 2000 Group 2 – The Traveling Tigers

The Traveling Tigers documentary is inspired by globalization and its effects on the connection between people, companies and the government. The main focus is tracking and how people are now being located through many different ways. This documentary is to help people realize how easily personal information can be found and tracked. The Lexus and The Olive Tree by Thomas Friedman centers on globalization and shows how easily people are interconnected. By using Friedmans examples and tying them to the present society, one can see that his words still resonate. Tracking happens through many different ways including satellites, cell phones, Internet, online purchases and rewards cards. People have found websites that make personal information accessible to anyone with a simple credit card purchase. The Internet is used in several ways to track people, such as, online shopping and shipping purchases. When someone places an order, an e-mail is sent to them telling them their tracking number so that they can locate the specific site of their purchase. New technology, such as fingerprint scanning in retail environments, is also a potential outlet for tracking. The future might hold implantable human microchips, which could be the source of much debate. They would drastically change the lives of everyone and even how the government is run. Microchips are one of the more extreme examples of tracking, but it displays how influential the effects of tracking can be. Tracking, whether good or bad, is starting to become a prevalent part of our society.
