what are redeposit fee’s when you pay a creditcard online?

I made a payment on line to my credit card and I got charged a redeposit fee of 29.00…and I had plenty of money in my bank account so I know its not a non sufficient fee, what could this be?
It sounds like your bank refused the payment request so your Credit Card charged you a fee for the rejection. While not a NSF fee it is treated the same if the bank rejects it.
You need to call your Credit Card company as to why the fee was charged. It could have been a case where you entered in the wrong account or routing number to your checking account.
