How would I build a website similar to www.creditcards.com??

I’m looking to start a credit card referal website simliar to that of creditcards.com. I’m somewhat familiar with PHP, like their site, but what exactly would it entail to make a site like theirs. When you click on a specific card it says “please wait…”, what is it doing and how would I go about doing so. Thanks.
That’s heavy geek work. You need to create a back end database. I think MySQL would get you on the right track.

you would need to hook up with some credit card companies (BECOME an affiliate with them)
they pay very nice commissions upwards of $200 per signup. You can find a few of them like chase cards, amex etc at CJ /linkshare
