Portable security for my carry on bag. any suggestions? anyone try Pacsafe or others?

I will be traveling for a few months and want to be able to make sure my valuables (laptop, passport, creditcards.ect) are secure in the hotel/motel room.
Most concered about laptop.

    I’d feel more secure locking them in the hotel/motel safe.

    If possible, check your valuables into the hotel safe, and get a receipt for what you leave there.

    Some good hotels have in-room safes. Be aware that there could be an insurance liability coverage issue if you use a guest room safe rather than using the main hotel safe (e.g. your credit card loss/theft policy may not apply if you use the room safe).

    Although if weight is an issue, it weighs over a pound.
