Does signing up for a store rewards card help cashiers?

It seems like almost every store these days has those free rewards cards. Like DSW, American Eagle, CVS, Borders….they don’t really seem to help that much. But I was wondering if the cashier makes commission from people signing up or helps them out in any way? Because if so then I wouldn’t mind signing up and helping them out. But if it doesn’t do anything to them I think I’ll just stop signing up.
many cashiers and shop assistants are under pressure to sell these cards as part of the job and are set a monthly target. most will have a very Small commission attached as part of a performance bonus so affecting earnings. on the whole unless You think you are going to actually use one don’t get one.
bear in mind it will involve having your details stored and subject to a possible ‘hacking’ operation and will be recorded as a credit application . too many will show up as a bed credit reference by lowering your credit rating. every tim e we seek to Take out any form of credit it is recorded and that information shared by other companies looking to keep out those with credit problems or trying to fleece a credit card company.it can for example affect getting a mortgage.
