My mom is wanting to use her credit card with 0.00% apr to pay off my bills. Can she?

Long story short, I am purchasing a home and in order to qualify for the moratage i need to pay off a credit card balance of 10000 dollars. My question is, can I balance transfer the card from my name into someone elses (say a friends name) so that the debt is then payed off and out of my name?

I only know his name and an idea of his whereabouts. Its been about 7 years since I seen him last. Dax are you out there?

please only answer if you KNOW the answer! I want to help my mom out by transferring her credit card balance which has a higher APR, to my new credit card which offers 0% on balance transfers. Is this possible or can I only do that between my own cards?

610 credit score and a 2600.00 balance on a credit card. I am being charged 34% interest on 2600.00 balance and I need to transfer over to something with 0% for atleast 12 mos.. Also, what happens if the one I transfer to doesnt give me a high enough limit to transfer it all? thanks to all!
